I’m Marcela Briere, a Mexican wedding photographer based in Austin, TX. My photography is all about celebrating love stories that bring cultures together and honoring the beauty of diversity. For seven years, I traveled full-time, living in different corners of the world—having my camera with me, always! In 2024, I married my partner, Dan, who is from the U.S., and together we decided to set our roots in Austin.
My work is inspired by the cultures I’ve experienced around the world, my own adventures in the outdoors, and the landscapes that have left a mark on my heart. I find inspiration in the depth of intimate weddings, the spirit of adventurous elopements, and the richness of traditional celebrations. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hosting landscape photography workshops in nature, hiking, or getting lost in creative projects that keep my hands and mind busy.

Absolutely! Even though I'm based out of Austin, I love traveling and have plenty of experience planning trips. From mountains to beaches, new landscapes always inspire me. I even travel to Mexico for weddings—it’s where I’m from, so it feels extra special to capture love there.

My approach is simple: I will adjust the colors and tones while keeping everything true to you. Scars or permanent features stay—they’re part of your story—but I’ll soften skin slightly and remove any temporary blemishes :)
Not at all! Honestly, most of my clients tell me they feel the same way. I promise we’ll embrace the awkwardness together and turn it into something fun. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, and before long, you’ll forget the camera is even there. By the end, you’ll likely say, “That was way more fun than I thought!”
I focus fully on photography to give you my best work. While I don’t offer videography, I have plenty of friends who do it and I'd be happy to help you find someone who can help out! I love doing videos with my phone, so if you're curious about content creating, don't be shy to ask me about it!
