This day is part of something bigger. Your love story.
Austin Texas Wedding Photographer —
Moments by Marcela

Because your story carries everything that led you here.
The way you found each other. The people who shaped you. The moments that already mean everything — and the ones that will soon.
As a documentary wedding photographer based in Austin, TX, my role is to pay attention to all of that. To photograph your day in a way that feels honest and emotional, while weaving in the story that's already been unfolding long before your wedding day — whether you're celebrating in the Texas Hill Country, downtown Austin, or somewhere only the two of you could dream up.
Meet your Wedding Photographer
You deserve more than a timeline. Your wedding is a story.
That's why I take time to get to know you—how you move together, what matters most, and where your day fits into the bigger picture of your life.
I photograph Austin weddings with patience, intuition, and a lot of heart. My background in landscape photography taught me how to wait, how to notice light, and how to trust the quiet moments.
I don't force anything. I observe, connect, and photograph what's real—so your images feel artful, emotional, and deeply yours.

Questions
In case you have some too, here are some common questions other couples ask me:
You’ll receive your full gallery within 4–6 weeks, no exceptions, I promise. Sneak peeks usually come much sooner, so be ready for a little surprise.
I 100% get that — cameras can feel intimidating. This is where we really connect. Rather than posing you, I use gentle prompts and simple actions that help things flow naturally. Most couples end up forgetting there’s even a camera there. The goal is for this to feel like a fun date, not a photoshoot.
You don’t have to figure that out on your own. Once I learn more about your day — the timeline, your priorities, and what moments matter most — I’ll help you choose what makes sense. Think of it as building coverage around your day, not fitting your day into a package.
Yes, please. I love when couples bring ideas, locations, or activities that are special to them. Whether it’s part of your story or something you’ve been dreaming about, we’ll make it happen. And if you don’t have ideas yet, I have a lovely menu of options that I’ll personally tailor to fit your story.
I focus exclusively on photography, but I have an amazing network of videographer friends and content creators I trust and love working with. If video is important to you, I’ll help you find a great fit.
Yes — that’s actually the main intention behind my 12-hour package. Coverage can be split across events depending on your priorities and the flow of the weekend. We’ll talk through what makes the most sense so nothing important feels rushed or missed.
Your story is waiting.
So am I.
Tell me about your day.
